Fieldtrips are a fantastic way to broaden your children’s minds. Being in a different environment not only makes learning more enjoyable, but can also help to make the information more “visible”. After all, merely reading about how Raffles landed in Singapore is not as exciting as retracing his steps at the various monuments and imagining the sights, sounds, and smells of the yesteryears.

More than just an educational trip for the kids, GERC fieldtrips are also an opportunity for the parents to observe and learn how to meaningfully engage with their children. Our academic director who will be leading the tour, will demonstrate strategies and methods that can help to promote the development of thinking and reasoning skills among children. Our goal is to help parents learn how they can engage their children in conversations more effectively.
